It is expected that the position will manage a complex network of SonicWall Routers and associated VPN Tunnels to connect various sites across the country in addition to a multitude of workstations from various hardware manufacturers. Network, Routing, VPN and Remote access experience will be paramount in being successful at this position. Windows administration experience and skills will be required to complete a portion of this job. Windows based Remote Deployment experience and skills will be helpful in completing a large portion of tasks for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of the SonicWALL network

• Maintain system logging and reporting systems including network, security, server, and workstation level logging. Provide detailed reports to management and technical specialists in regards to system health.

• Maintain, upgrade and implement new server and network technology in order to maintain a high level of system efficiency and systems availability.

• Research and evaluate cutting-edge technological solutions to existing systems deficiencies and apply these solutions to future systems development.

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot image builds for servers and task specific workstations that comply with policy, FISMA requirements, and FDCC policies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all tasks, procedures, and system software/hardware information for easy reference and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining a high risk clearance

• Good communication skills

• Experience with SonicWALL configuration
