Job Summary


Purisolve Inc. is hiring a cleared Release Train Engineer (RTE) to serve in a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support for mission-critical programs. The Release Train Engineer will support the Agile Release Trains (ART) in delivering value and support the reduction of cybersecurity risks to our customer's environments. This program provides systems and security engineering and integration support to specific Government-sponsored projects, pilots, and prototypes. RTE will report directly to the Agile Project Management Lead and will serve as an experienced ART coach with scaled agile framework (SAFe). The RTE will manage issues, risks, and schedules and identify and initiate continuous improvements. 

Note: Minimum Active Secret Clearance is Required.

 


Key Responsibilities

 
  • Support Solution Planning, Engineering, architecture, and security requirements definition, system testing, and post-deployment security validation
  • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness by facilitating the preparation of Vision and Backlogs,
  • Support creation of Pre- and Post-PI planning artifacts (ART Vision/Recap, Release Planning Review [RPR], etc.)
  • Maintain updated ART and release schedules; present information to government customers
  • Work closely with stakeholders across contractor and government teams
  • Support the development of Epic Review packages
  • Manage the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train
  • Help track the delivery of features and capabilities to ART stakeholders
  • Facilitate feature and capability estimation and the roll-up to Epics
  • Lead, guide and coach professional staff in Lean-Agile practices
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Drive continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops
  • Escalate issues and obstacles impacting teams to ART leadership
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings, including the ART sync at the program level


Required

 
  • Active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility required. Must be able to pass a polygraph.
  • Direct experience with large-scale agile (e.g., Disciplined Agile Delivery, Large-scale Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework, or Spotify model).
  • Experience with Cybersecurity Operations and/or related platforms and environments.


Education


Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
