Job Summary
Purisolve, Inc. is building a team of Project Management professionals to support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Each position requires foundational understanding and experience with project management. 

Additionally, applicants must have proven proficiency with one or more of the following practices:

  1. Risk Management
  2. Scheduling and Maintenance
  3. Program and Project Management Support and Controls
  4. Portfolio and Project-level Executive Reporting
  5. Documentation Management and SharePoint Support
  6. QA & QC Site Reviews
  7. Process Improvement & Organizational Change
  8. Strategic Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities - All team members will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the structured approach to planning, organizing and managing a portfolio of projects, during all project phases, while ensuring achievement of program goals.
  • Assisting with Executive Level Reporting and Communications support, including deliverable status, health and progress of key activities, accomplishments, issues and risks.
  • Ensuring compliance with best practices, policies, and organizational objectives.
  • Using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio, and other Office applications.

Specialties - Candidates must demonstrate significant expertise in at least one of the following areas:

  • Risk Management – identifying risks, defining mitigation strategies and responses to potential risk events.
  • Scheduling and Maintenance - developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple concurrent projects; experience with tracking and monitoring dependencies, deliverables, and milestones across projects.
  • Program and Project Management Support and Controls  – using and tailoring of structured management approaches for all project phases (Initiation – Closure); project planning; development and update of standard project management documentation; project tracking and reporting; supporting project reviews; coaching to assist in adoption of incremental development and delivery; facilitation of lessons learned and continuous improvement.
  • Portfolio and Project-level Executive Reporting – presenting program and project objectives, progress, risks and issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Documentation Management & SharePoint Leadership – designing, implementing, and managing Documentation Management Repositories for document review, comments and approval.  Use of SharePoint site as a central repository to logically organize and preserve work products and other resources.  Retain artifacts in compliance with NARA record retention strategies.
  • QA & QC Site Reviews – planning and performing QA activities, including reviews and retrospectives at key project stages to assess project progress, quality and compliance; performing QC activities to address non-conformances/non-compliances, resolve errors/defects and ensure product quality; reporting on fixes and corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement & Organizational Change – analyzing work processes, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing best practices and standards.
  • Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Management – defining and delivering stakeholder engagement strategy; facilitating collaboration, consensus/buy-in and acceptance of digital solutions; conducting organizational readiness assessments; tracking status and reporting on initiatives and related dependencies; accelerating solution acceptance through marketing campaigns, notices and other digital communications.

Minimum Requirements

  • Position requires MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) with the IRS.
  • Candidates must have a US Citizenship or a Green Card for at least 3 years.
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of dedicated Project Management experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). This experience must demonstrate on-going use of project management principles, methodologies and best practices.
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with dedicated focus on one or more of the above project management specialties.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and an attention to detail, are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint (at least, as a SharePoint user), is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or other relevant project management certification(s).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving experience in a consulting environment.
  • Business process improvement and change management experience.
